The 3M™ E-A-R™ UltraFit™ Earplugs are made with a triple-flange design that is designed to contour to the different shapes and sizes of ear canals. This helps create a noise-blocking seal. These earplugs feature stem grips, making it easier for workers to insert these earplugs into their ears. No need to roll down or touch the portion of the earplug that goes into the ear. Pliable material can be washed and reused, cutting down costs and extending the hearing protector’s life.

These durable, long-lasting earplugs are made from soft,
flexible materials that are washable and reusable. The
tapered tips are designed to fit a wide range of ear sizes.
Available in a variety of styles and protection levels.

How to use, care and clean

Fitting Instructions

1. INSERT rounded tip into ear canal WHILE PULLING ear outward & upward with opposite hand. ADJUST for greatest noise reduction.

2. CHECK FIT after inserting plug.

3. PULL plug stem gently. Plug should not come out of the ear easily. If it does, remove plug & repeat fitting.

4. LISTEN to steady loud noise with plugs in both ears. Cover ears with tightly cupped hands. Noise should sound about the same whether or not ears are covered.

5. CAUTION: For greater comfort and safety, remove plug slowly with twisting motion to gradually break the seal.

Care & Cleaning

The number of times reusable earplugs can be reused depends on how they are handled, washed and other environmental factors. They should be inspected before each use and replaced if they shrink or swell, harden or soften, tear, crack, or become permanently deformed. Wash them in warm, soapy water and rinse well. When dry, store them in the provided carrying case or similar sealed container.
