Tapered roller bearings BRG

With a wide range of designs to choose from, SKF tapered roller bearings are also customizable to match your specific speed, load, contamination, temperature or vibration conditions. Tapered roller bearings feature a cup and cone assembly. The cup is comprised of the outer ring and the cone assembly consists of inner ring, rollers, and cage. This bearing construction accommodates combined loads and provides low friction during operation. By adjusting one single row tapered roller bearing against a second tapered roller bearing and applying a preload, a rigid bearing application can be achieved. SKF tapered roller bearings are also made to Explorer class. SKF Explorer combines our expertise in bearing design, tribology, metallurgy, lubrication and manufacturing. SKF Explorer tapered roller bearings are typically used in bearing solutions where there is a need to increase performance, reduce friction or increase power density in applications.

SY 65 TF Pillow block ball bearing

Pillow (plummer) block ball bearing units consist of an insert bearing mounted in a cast iron housing that can be bolted to a support surface. This variant is suitable for applications with both constant and alternating directions of rotation. It has an inner ring extended on both sides and is locked onto the shaft by tightening a set screw on the inner ring, making it easy to mount.

Spherical roller bearings BRG

Dealing with very heavy radial and axial loads in applications prone to misalignment or shaft deflections? Meet the challenge with SKF spherical roller bearings, whose high load carrying capacity and ability to accommodate misalignment help you obtain low maintenance costs and long bearing service life. SKF invented this bearing type in 1919 and our range is the widest in the industry today – both open and sealed. Our assortment includes spherical roller bearings designed for many applications, including wind turbine main shafts, continuous casters, vibratory applications and high-speed applications, as well as bearings with Solid Oil, split bearings, SKF ConCentra roller bearing units, and, for the harshest operating environments, our SKF three-barrier solution.

Self-aligning ball bearings

Self-aligning ball bearings have two rows of balls, a common sphered raceway in the outer ring and two deep uninterrupted raceway grooves in the inner ring. They are available open or sealed. The bearings are insensitive to angular misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing, which can be caused, for example, by shaft deflection.

PHG SPB3550 Wrapped wedge belt

Belts provide a very efficient and cost-effective method for transmitting power from prime movers to driven machines. Wedge belts have pre-tensioned polyester cords that provide low stretch during operation and a fibre-loaded rubber cushion that provides good transverse rigidity. Being fully wrapped in a heavy duty industrial fabric, the belts have a high resistance against abrasion.

HK 0509 Drawn cup needle roller bearing

Drawn cup needle roller bearings are typically used in applications where the housing bore cannot be used as a raceway for a needle roller and cage assembly, but where a very compact and economical bearing arrangement is required. Owing to their large number of rollers, the bearings have a high load carrying capacity and stiffness.

FY 35 TF – Square flanged ball bearing

These square flanged ball bearing units are compliant with ISO standards. They consist of an insert bearing, with an extended inner ring and set screw locking, and are suitable for applications where the direction of rotation is constant or alternating. The bearing is mounted in a cast iron housing, which can be bolted to a machine wall or frame. Ball bearing units can accommodate moderate initial misalignment, but normally do not permit axial displacement.

Deep groove ball bearings BRG OD > 30mm

Deep groove ball bearings are the most widely used bearing type and are particularly versatile. They have low friction and are optimized for low noise and low vibration which enables high rotational speeds. They accommodate radial and axial loads in both directions, are easy to mount, and require less maintenance than other bearing types. The SKF bearing catalogue lists a large range of designs, variants and sizes of deep groove ball bearings. Beyond our catalogue offering, the SKF Explorer deep groove ball bearings are customizable to offer advantages for applications with specific performance needs.
